How long have you worked in estate agency?
What do you love about your job?
The team I work with and there is nothing like estate agency to bring out the banter and some quick witted retorts or do I mean hysteria?
What is a typical day in work like for you?
Generally hectic! I started here as a sales progressor/negotiator 19 years ago but as the business has grown it’s now everything from tea, coffee and toilet rolls to the VAT return – I don’t remember signing up for all this!
Best thing about the area you work in?
Norwich is a beautiful city. It has great restaurants and lots going on and the surrounding villages and coast are great for finding a bit of peace at the end of the day and maybe a glass of wine.
Favourite part of the software?
Since our branch number is 26; I guess you could say all of it but the diary in particular. To be able to see everyone’s whereabouts straightway, avoid double booking the same property in multiple diaries and being able to make sure you have enough people to hold the fort is great. If you were to ask me the best thing about Dezrez, I would have to say the team behind it. Moving over from paper diaries was made easier with the training and support provided by the guys and we also freshened up our branding last year and making the changes to the brochures, window displays, etc. was probably the easiest part of the whole project.
Favourite holiday destination?
South Africa. My mum lived out there for 11 years and I have to say I’ve fallen in the love with the place, the amazing landscapes, the people and the food. I can’t recommend it enough.
Jeep Wrangler – loud and aggressive just like me!
Fast and Furious – all of them!
I love cooking and therefore eating too!
What is the funniest thing to happen to you lately?
Probably not repeatable!
